I’ve spent more than 30 years inside HR.
I’ve led global HR service delivery teams.
Built HR operations from the ground up.
Guided leaders through acquisitions, restructures, investigations, compliance reviews, and complex employee decisions.
What I’ve learned is this:
Growing companies don’t struggle because they don’t care about HR.
They struggle because no one has had the time, or the experience, to build it properly.
Today, I work as a Fractional HR Leader for founder-led and growing companies who have outpaced their informal systems.
Sometimes that’s a service-based business adding employees faster than structure can support.
Sometimes it’s a startup preparing for scale, funding, or regulatory oversight.
Different industries. Same inflection point.
The moment when “we’ll figure it out as we go” stops working.
When I step into a company, I follow a clear sequence:
Assess. Design. Implement. Maintain.
First, I assess the current state - compliance exposure, infrastructure gaps, hiring practices, leadership capability, and people risk.
Then we design a right-sized HR strategy aligned to the business model and growth plans.
Next, we implement practical systems, policies, and workflows that actually support day-to-day operations.
And finally, I stay alongside the leadership team to maintain and refine the foundation as the company grows.
HR isn’t a collection of documents.
It’s infrastructure. And infrastructure needs to be built in the right order.
Some engagements are focused 90-day builds.
Some are ongoing fractional partnerships.
Some begin with a single urgent issue and evolve from there.
But the outcome is always the same:
Clarity. Structure. Reduced risk. Confidence in people decisions.
If your company is growing and HR feels daunting, that’s usually a sign you’ve reached your next stage.
Let's talk - we’ll figure out the right next step for your business.
